Steampunk is certainly the most polite of all Punk movements, but how do we balance it’s Do-It-Yourself free-spirit against the forces of order- whether they be “Scene-makers”, those who feel the need to overly categorize, or simply the laws of Physics?

What I get from this wonderful thread of thoughts is that for those who wish to impose some kind of order or rules onto the greater community…There is too much. I sum up…Steampunk. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
